Psyonix has announced that Pepsi's Brisk is now sponsoring their Rocket League Championship Series, a brand that's no stranger to sponsoring esports, sponsoring OpTic Gaming last year.

Brisk believes that esports sponsorship is an effective way for them to make their company more of a "household name," and this is because they're expanding their presence in the marketplace. They've also worked in a number of other projects outside of esports, such as with urban artists in New York, so this shouldn't be too tough. Are big sponsors key for growing esports?
